Easter Bunny!

We took bunny pictures two weekends ago with A. Leigh Photography.  They turned out so good, they colors are perfect and gavin was in a great mood.  Enjoy, I will write more later when I have time.

Follow up

Well, I had a nice dinner when I got to Dallas with Kimberly, Andy and Debbie.  Then the next day I went to the first day of class.  It was fine, and I had one glass of wine at the hotel bar.  The next morning about 5 am, I woke up and puked my guts out!  I was barely able to make it to class, but I did make it.  I didn't take the exam until 2 weeks later.  I ended up making am 84,so I should be happy consdering I was semi-comatose the second day. 

On a lighter note, the hotel I was staying at was having a King Caviler Dog show in the hotel.  I will have one of those dogs someday-- they are so cute!!

Timing

Wow this week is fully of bad timing!  I had to pick up Gavin from yesterday b/c he wasn't feeling well.  I have something I can't get rid of either (hopefully the antibiotic the dr prescribed this mornig will kick it).  Gavin couldn't go back to school to day, I am leaving to go to Dallas for a class tomorrow, my mom is sick.  So today Pop came over to stay with Gavin while Bjorn and I went to work.  Bjorn will be with him tomorrow and then Thursday and Friday Gavin will be with my mom and dad again.  Hopefully my mom will be feeling better by then!  Oh and to top it off the weather is HORRIBLE here today so Gavin and Pop can't even go outside. 

On the good side: I get to have dinner tonight with Kimberly and Andy and then I get to sleep late tomorrow!  My class doesn't start until 8:30 and I'm staying in the hotel where the class is.  I plan on catching up on a lot of my sleep between now and Friday!

Valentine's and Presidents' Day

We had a nice holiday weekend.  Friday night we met some friends at The Kork in downtown NB.  We had a nice time but didn't stay out too late since we knew we would be up early Saturday morning.  Saturday we had breakfast with GG (my grandma) and then ran a bunch of errands, took a long nap and went to bed early.  On Valentine's day I had breakfast with my 2 Valentines and then we all went on a walk.  While Gavin napped Bjorn and I did some stuff around the house.  For dinner we stayed in- it is just too crazy to try and eat out on Valentine's day!  Then we dropped Gavin off with his LaLa and Pop because we were headed to Gruene Hall to see Bob Schneider.  Bjorn had 3 dates, so he was feeling extra special this Valentine's day (Kimberly and Jamie went with us).  Yesterday I got to sleep until 9:30!!  After we picked up Gavin we headed home for lunch and then we went to the park for a little while, then we drove back to NB to go to the Chiropractor-- I think we drove between our house and NB 50 times over the 3 day weekend.  Now it's back to work and if this morning is any idication of how this week is going to go, it's going to be another busy one!

Is it the Superbowl or Mardi Gras?

We went to our friends Scott and Megans for the Superbowl.  Although we barely watched any of the game, actually Scott was watching it and trying to tune out the rest of us:-)  We also did some boxing on their WI- I was rolling on the flooring watching Megan box Michael Jackson/Bjorn.  It was so funny, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.  Both Megan and Bjorn were nursing their injuries the next day.  Then Megan played Gavin and it took three rounds, but GAVIN BEAT MEGAN!!  It was funny, but I don't think Megan liked getting beat by a 19 month old.  Then at some point Megan was playing with Gavin and she got out some Mardi Gras beads (she has a LOT of beads since she has family that live in LA), I have never seen anything so funny Bjorn kept saying it was a Mr. T starter package.

He decided that he needed to go pee on the potty and was sucessful, however, he did manage to pee on his pants so we had to change him and for some reason he didn't want to put a shirt on.   He never does this at home, so I figure he was trying to show off for Megan.

Stock Show and Rodeo or Not

We tried to go to the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo last Saturday, but after driving around for 30 minutes just looking for a place to park we decided it was going to be too crowded when we got in.  So, we decided to go to the little park by our house.  I took lots of pictures with my new camera.  It is fun to be able to snap so many pictures so quickly.  He was dressed up to go to the rodeo and once he gets his hat on you pretty much can't get it away from him.

One Question: does this kid ever walk?  He runs all the time!

The swings usually only last about 1 minute and then he is done.
