Video Post

We got one of those flip cameras so we can easly post short videos of Gavin. This is my first attempt. This is him talking to us after his bath this evening.

Bjorn had 5 days off and we didn't do much, just hung out around here. We did float the Comal one day and went out to a nice dinner for my birthday (a little early since Bjorn is on call this weekend). Other than that we just hung out with Gavin, who just changes so much everyday. He really can hold his head pretty good now and smiles alot more. As I'm typing he is talking away to the ceiling fan, which is one of his favorite things.

2 months old

Well, I set this blog up a couple of weeks ago and still haven't posted anything. So here is my first real post. Gavin is now 2 months or 9 weeks depending on how you count it. Last Friday he had his first round of shots and afterwards slept ALL day! He has been sleeping through the night for over 2 weeks now, so Bjorn and I feel so lucky to have such a good baby. I can't believe how fast time is going. I only have three weeks until I have to return to work. I am looking forward to going back, but also dreading it at the same time. It will make it a little easier knowing that my mom is going to be watching him for a while. Valero is putting an on-site daycare that is set to open up the fist day of the new year, which will make it so nice for me since Gavin will be able to go to work with me.



Bjorn is taking off the rest of the week, so we are going to try and do a few fun things. We are going to go out to eat for my birthday and float the Comal. We will also just hang out around the house with Gavin.

I am also going to post a few recent picutures of my little man (if anybody can tell me how to rotate these please let me know-- I have no idea).

The picture of Gavin with his Pop was on my dad's 60th birthday and Gavin's 6 week birthday. I'm convinced that Gavin is going to look just like my dad.
