Firsts...Gruene Hall and the County Fair

So, we took Gavin for his first trip to Gruene Hall two Saturdays ago. It was such a nice day to sit outside under the shade. Here is a picture of me with him and his dad with him in Gruene wearing his Aggie clothes.

This week we took Gavin for his first trips to the fair. We went Wednesday night and Sunday for dinner. Here is a picture from both trips. As you can see he is a real cowboy wearing his pearl snap shirt and his ostrich boots that his pop got him.

His pop also took this picture of him wearing a belt buckle. He is going to be my little cowboy.

Everything else is going good. I am getting back into the swing of things at work. This weekend our friend Nicole and Scott came to visit and we went to dinner and to Gruene hall. It was Nicole's birthday, so I hope she had a good time. It was fun to see them! I can't wait to get together with them again and next time Gavin can play with Will! Bjorn is headed to Dallas this weekend to visit with Derrick, Chad and Randy at the TVMA conference-- should be fun time for them. I'll keep posting as I can, take care.

Back to work and 3 Months old!
I went back to work last Monday, the 8th. I think it was the hardest thing I have ever done, I actually came back inside 3 times before I could leave. But, things are already getting easier (and it helps knowing that he is being watched by people who love him as much as I do). I am slowing getting back in the swing of things, I had been out so long I felt like a new employee! My department had decorated my cube and had a welcome back cake, which was really nice. Bjorn stayed with him last Wednesday, so for the first time he watched him all day by himself and of course everything was fine. They just “hung out” and did “guy stuff.” Bjorn is such a good husband and an even better dad, I am lucky to have married such a good guy.

Monday Gavin was 3 months old. I can’t believe how fast time is going and how quickly he is growing. He can roll on to his side by himself, so any day now I expect that he will be able to roll himself all the way over. Although when he gets on his stomach he is just going to get mad, he doesn’t enjoy his tummy time too much. The otherday he was also able to hold his bottle by himself! There is a picture below of him holding it while he was sitting in his dad’s lap. Also below is a picture of him and Kim. We went over to visit the Englers (even though that’s not Kim’s last name anymore).

Well, hopefully even though I am back at work I hope to be able to continue to post updates every couple of weeks. I also hope to post another video soon! This is a picture of Gavin on Monday-- his 3 month birthday! He loves this rainforest jumper! Thanks Owen for him borrow it.

I have had a great day. I had breakfast at one of my favoriate places, The Fork and Spoon. Then I spent sometime at my parents while Bjorn went up to the clinic to meet a client. When he was done I spent the rest of the afternoon with both of my guys. Below is a picture of me and my little man on my first birthday as a mom.








I go back to work next Monday, so this is my last week to stay at home with him. I am going to miss being here with him, but I also miss the challenges of my job and know once I get in a routine it will all work out. I will be soo tired for the first few weeks, I am not use to getting up at 5 am. I think there is one "person" looking forward to me going back to work, Mannie:-) She has been so tired and is not getting her normal 22 hours of beauty sleep a day. I have added a picutre of her and Rufus so they don't feel left out. Hope the world is treating all of you good!
