Lake City, CO
We went to Bjorn's "hometown" of Lake City, CO in August. We had such a nice time visiting and seeing his friends. We had such nice weather when we there, very cool in the morning and nice during the day. It really was so pretty! Thank you to all of our host for everything and being so generous. Greg, we are still talking about your shrimp cake and there are so many times I day dream of taking a nap and hearing the river running by.

Sorry, to the other parents out there, but I have the cutest boy ever:-) We had his one year pictures taken in June by A. Leigh Photography out in Landa Park by the Founder's Oak. She did an awesome job and I would highly recommend her to anybody. Here are some of the pictures, but I can't post all 150 of them!

Wow and Costa Rica
Wow, I am the worst blogger ever. So much has been going on lately so I am going to do several posts.
July 15-19 Costa Rica
Back in July we went with 2 other couple to Costa Rica, we had a really good time. We mostly layed on the beach, read and drank dirty bananas (these were so good). One day we rented jet skis for an hour, the next day we rode on ATVs through jungles, cities and water. Lastly we went zip lining. Most of our group loved zip lining, Bjorn on the other hand thought it was the most horrible experince of his lifetime. The only part of it he liked was being driven away in a truck:-) We were famous around the resort as we all had our Buba kegs. For those of you who don't know they are these ridiclusly huge insulated mugs. They work really well though and kept our drinks really cold and since they were nice and big I didn't have to get up from my beach chair too often for refils! We flew back on Bjorn's birthday so we didn't really do much to celebrate, unless you count the other 4 days of R&R.

We really enjoyed the beach, the resort, the people of Costa Rica and the time spent with friends, it really was a great trip!
